Realising our son had a speech and language delay, it felt like we were plunged into a world we knew nothing about. We were scared, confused and worried parents but we were lucky enough to find Suzanne who’s now been a part of our lives for just over 12 months. I can say without hesitation she feels more like a trusted family friend than a therapist whilst providing expert knowledge, realistic targets and bags of positivity. Her strategies are fun and we have built them around our family routine. 

I would recommend Rebecca in a heartbeat. The progress we
have seen in 6 months with our sons language development has been amazing. She is professional and positive whilst being realistic. Her caring and warm nature has developed a wonderful relationship with our son and has given us as parents the confidence and determination to successfully implement strategies. We look forward to our sessions and there is no one else I would entrust with our sons language development.

Rebecca is a fantastic Speech and Language therapist
who genuinely cares about your child and their development. She also has created a great bond with my daughter! As soon as she sees Rebecca her face lights up as she knows she is in for fun! She is very warm, kind and friendly and makes you feel relaxed, at ease and keeps you up to date on any progress your child is making which is a blessing to any parent with concerns in this area. I would not want anybody else to help my daughter through this journey than Rebecca!!! Thank you for everything you do for my little girl 

The team are professional and well thought off across the school. They are very responsive to staff requests for advice. Communication to staff and parents is excellent.
I know how demanding it can be to work in such a big school and all of the team take it in their stride and endeavour to offer as much support as possible with the
increasing demands placed on them.

Jen has given us our child back. Leo was always happy and smiley but at 12 months old it was like a light switch had gone off and we’d lost our baby. Since Leo has been going to speech and language with Jen his play skills have developed, his concentrations improved, he interacts with us and initiates play, something that we had lost all hope would happen for us. I could never imagine Leo would be in this position, where he is happy and playful, if you’d have asked me 4 months ago I wouldn’t have believed you. We have our gorgeous, smily, happy boy back who wants to play with us and I couldn’t be more thankful.

Louise always follows Hollie’s lead. She’s fab. Sitting on a cold kitchen floor if Hollie’s asks is no bother to Louise. I love how Louise is up on all the latest games/ YouTube shows the kids are watching. She keeps Hollie engaged with the things Hollie likes and we always get practice out of the sessions. It’s always clear to me at the end of each session what I need to practice with Hollie in-between sessions. Thank you so much for helping to get Hollie talking and pronouncing things properly.

Laura is great. It was her first courgettes my daughter was a GLP and we were able to pass the information onto the NHS salt once we finally started seeing her.

Thomas’s is set targets and these are communicated well to school. Laura is incredibly supportive of Thomas and he is making good progress with her.

My grandson is very fond of Christina and is always excited to see her, he waits in the porch looking for her car when she visits us at home; we have seen improvements in all areas of communication since starting therapy. I would like to say that Christina has been very supportive, in terms of teaching me strategies to use to encourage speech which have been invaluable to us and are used daily.

Incredible! I know for a fact my child is dreading no longer needing to attend SALT any longer. He loves it! Sessions are well planned and resourced, taking into account the child's SALT needs but also their interests. Christina has such a wonderful manner with him and he loves coming and 'playing.' The progress is remarkable and we are thankful we were recommended Rebecca Pearson's for SALT. The building is lovely, all staff are friendly and welcoming - we love Julie greeting us at the door. It feels like a family and we are blessed to be a small part of it.

Louise is amazing! We absolutely love our sessions with her and really look forward to them. Our son, whose expression might be a little difficult to interpret, clearly enjoys his sessions and has a fondness towards Louise. She knows our son inside out and makes every therapy enjoyable according to his likes and dislikes! Ollie has come on leaps and bounds since beginning his therapies. His eye contact and engagement alone are miles ahead of what they were 6 months ago.

Excellent, my child has come on so much with his attention levels and interaction with others. Jen was working on joint attention and intensive interaction with him, she was brilliant built a positive relationship and showed genuine care for him. She supported us to start using an AAC with him as picture cards were not useful with him. Without her support I don’t think he’d have come out of his own little world as much as he has now. He is much more responsive and tolerant of others. He really loved his sessions with Jen and looked forward to them every week. She was knowledgeable and very supportive, nothing was too much and she’d go out of her way to help Connor, which then helped us as a family. We can’t thank her enough for the important part she played in his early learning.

Georgie is absolutely fantastic, she is so good with Myla and they’ve really bonded. It’s so reassuring to have Georgie to help us develop Myla’s speech.

Our initial assessment experience with Laura was great. She was so welcoming and instantly put us at ease. She was very thorough and understanding and her vast knowledge base was clear throughout our conversation. Laura was very transparent and gave us some clear feedback and full explanation of what we could expect with therapies for our son.

The girls are absolutely fantastic. They have helped my child so so much she wouldn't be where she is today without their support. Jen is the most kind, caring and all round amazing person and her passion for what's he does shines through!!!
