Hello! My name is Helen Jones, I have worked in Operations Business Management for over 20 years, specialising in hospitality, retail and hotel management. Through these roles I have gained valuable experience in company organisation and administration at both business and head office level, and applied the theory of my business studies to practical settings, including financial reporting, managing people and resources. My personal journey with Rebecca Pearson Speech and Language Therapy started because I have a young son with a speech and language delay, receiving therapy. As a parent this made me reevaluate my career path and goals. I am now in a role where I can utilise my previous experience whilst truly being able to empathise and offer peer support to fellow parents, as I am going through the same process with my son. I feel blessed to be a part of the Rebecca Pearson Speech and Language Therapy family, I hope that I am able to help other parents feel supported on their child’s speech and language journey. My free time is spent with my little family and friends, usually outdoors at a farm or in the woods where my little boy and puppies can run free, and we can hunt for the Gruffalo!
