Hello! My name is Georgie, I am an Early Years Teacher (EYPS) with 15 years' experience supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, namely in my own home-based childcare setting and at an innovative forest school. Most of this time was spent working directly 1:1, supporting children with speech, language and communication needs - which is my absolute professional passion and strength. I am deeply dedicated to and advocate for child-led, sensory informed and neurodiversity affirming therapy. I strive to ensure that each child has lots of fun during their therapy session, whilst carefully implementing their targets and interventions. I love to constantly learn and develop my practice; I am most recently trained in the Hanen 4 I's to Socialize approach, in Gestalt Language Processing, and in supporting sensory integration for speech therapy. When I am not working or researching all things early years, speech, language, and communication, I love making memories with my daughter and my family and friends, music is my other passion, and the Lake District is my happy place.
