Hi, I’m Georgia, a clinic based SALT assistant at RPSLT! I am passionate about working with children of all ages to enhance their speech/language skills. I work with a range of ages with various needs from speech sounds, early years, gestalt and much more. Throughout my time at RPSLT I have learnt so much and continue to do so as I am fascinated with finding research behind speech and language strategies, causes of difficulties and the science behind it all. I am creative, so enjoy making my sessions fun and engaging. I love coming up with games and activities based on the child’s interests whilst incorporating the appropriate strategies. Part of my role is to adapt and change depending on the child’s needs, every child is different and the support they need therefore varies. I enjoy investigating, with the help of parents (and sometimes educators)the best therapy approach. Watching and being involved in a child’s journey is a privilege as well as to support and reassure parents/careers through their journey too. In my spare time, I enjoy mountain walking with my two dogs, scrapbooking and cooking for my family.
