Hello! My name is Christina, I am a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant with 9+ years experience working with children from ages 2-11. I have gained my NCFE CACHE Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning and also have a BTEC qualification in Health and Social care. I have spent most of my career so far working in Early Years, gaining experience in child development, working with children with Special Educational Needs, ASD, ADHD, Speech and Language difficulties, and Global Developmental Delay. I have experience within clients homes, clinic, after school clubs, nurseries and schools. I am experienced in Development Matters, and have full time experience working with families and children, supporting Teachers, working with Special Educational Needs Coordinators, Speech Therapists, Educational Phycologists and with other professionals to provide the best service for our families. My passion is working with children and Early Years has been my specialty. My journey began at Rebecca Pearson Speech and Language Therapy two years ago and I believe I have found the perfect job, being able to support the development of children’s speech and language, expressive and receptive language difficulties, communication difficulties associated with neurodevelopment disorders and phonological delay. I am passionate about supporting children to be confident and happy effective communicators and will work closely with families and other professionals to ensure the best support in therapy is provided. In my spare time I absolutely love being with my family and friends. My children are my life! I have a kitten called Angel. I love visiting London, it’s my favourite place. I enjoy drawing, and I love to read, especially Harry Potter.
